Thank you for choosing the Advanced Shipping plugin!
There are two ways you can setup Advanced Shipping rates. The classic mode is through the page found under WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Advanced Shipping (legacy). The other way is within the WooCommerce Shipping Zones. Both are correct ways of doing so and are supported.
Why two ways? In the past WooCommerce Core did not have Shipping Zones, so the legacy/classic way was the only way. After the Zones were added we added support for that too. Both ways can co-exist next to each other.
Setting up Advanced Shipping (legacy) rates
Head to the WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Advanced Shipping (legacy). On this page you will see all the Advanced Shipping rates setup, but not the ones that are within the Shipping Zones. These shipping rates will appear for all locations, depending on the conditions. These are not limited to a specific shipping zone.
page and click the ‘Create shipping rate’ button. Within this screen you will be able to setup the shipping rates to your requirements (see other documentation).
Setting up Advanced Shipping rates in the Shipping Zones
Head over to the WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Shipping Zones and click on the zone you want to add the Advanced Shipping rate to. Click the ‘Add rate’ button and select Advanced Shipping from the list of available shipping methods.
Advanced Shipping rates setup within this zone are limited to the locational limitations of that zone, as well as the conditions that are setup within the Advanced Shipping rate itself.
